The Promise
'The Promise' was written by Naomi during 2008 and then published by Ark House Press in Sept 2009. It is a series of 20 dramatic monologues (using Biblical female voices) that capture the sweep of God's plans and promises for the world - from Genesis to Pentecost. The style is warm and inviting and the book will particularly appeal to those who enjoy story and connect to God's truth through narrative.
As well as its paperback version, the book is available as an audio book - a 7 CD unabridged version produced by Bruce Wheatley and read by Melanie Grouse, Natalie Maddock, Melissa Brinkworth, Margaret McGarity, Cecily Jackson, Greer Dokmanovic and Naomi.

Over My Shoulder 'Over My Shoulder' began as a series of interviews that Naomi performed with fellow workers in Nepal during 2005 and 2006. In the midst of a stressful situation, she longed to show the diversity of the cross-cultural experience as well as the way that personality shapes thinking and behaviour within that context. The result is an easily accessible exploration of the impact of personality on cross-cultural mission. It was published by Ark House Press in March 2009 and is specifically written for those preparing to go to the field. |

No Ordinary View 'No Ordinary View' was written after Naomi's return to Australia in 2007 and then published by Ark House Press
in May 2008. It won the Australian Christian Book of the Year Award, 2009. The book describes the years in
Dhulikhel when the family lived through Nepal's civil war and struggled with issues related to both poverty and
war. For Naomi, the constant reminder was to "Fix our eyes not on what is seen but on what is unseen.
For what is seen is temporary but what is unseen is eternal." (2 Cor 4: 18)
